Willow Bacon didn’t even know what colorguard was until a friend convinced her to audition for the University of Oregon. It was love at first twirl. She went on to direct the U of O guard for three years and has taught colorguards all over the state of Oregon, including Willamette, Sprague, Hillsboro, Benson, and McNary High Schools.
When she’s not making up ridiculous dance moves and impersonating sheep, Willow can be found writing for sports and fitness brands like Nike and Columbia Sportswear. She also performs in the Portland show band The Nu Wavers and is featured for approximately 2 seconds in the smash film “Beverly Hills Chihuahua.”
