Meet our Camp Founder, Scott Reese
The Scott Reese Leadership Camps are proud to introduce you to our Camp Founder, Mr. Scott Reese. After serving as drum major for 4 years in high school and 4 years in college, Mr. Reese earned his Bachelor of Music Education from Eastern Kentucky University and his Master in Conducting and Education from Appalachian State University.
Widely recognized for his motivational and instructional techniques, Mr. Reese has served many high school and college band programs across the nation. Several camps, clinics, and seminars have benefitted from his instruction, including the renowned Smith-Walbridge School of Drum Majoring. Mr. Reese has dedicated countless hours to serving the public school system and is a two time recipient of the Time Warner Star Teacher of the Year award. In addition to being a widely sought after clinician, adjudicator, and conductor across the country, Mr. Reese teaches leadership training and team building to large corporations and companies worldwide.
Mr. Reese also holds a Doctorate in Ministry from ABS Theological Seminary and is presently the Senior Pastor at the fastest growing Baptist church in the state of Virginia. Mr. Reese was named President of Temple Baptist College in 2010 and has brought new life, leadership, and growth to the 40 year old institution. In addition to his teaching and ministry efforts, Mr. Reese is presently publishing a book on industry leadership.
