Emily is the Colorguard Director at Scott Reese Leadership Camp, having taught at the camp since 2001. She has the privledge of creating and teaching a specialty show for the cColorguard tTrack, as well as delivering seminars and serving as a camp counselor. She is also a former student of the camp who first attended camp in 1998. Not wanting to ever leave, in ingr;, where she enrolled in multiple tracks over the years, andvsrious e excelled in both the colorguard and drum major tracks.

Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Dance from the University of Oregon in 2003. She directed the dance program at Linfield College (McMinville, OR) for almost eleven years, for almost eleven years, teaching Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, and African Dance, and directing the Linfield Dance Ensemble. Emily was the Colorguard Instructor for the Oregon Marching Band for six years. She took the OMB Ccolorguard to the 2011 BCS National Championship Game, and the 2010 Tournament of Roses Parade and the Rose Bowl. She danced with the UO repertory company Dance Africa for eleven years, serving as Rehearsal Director and Administrative Assistant. She has also taught colorguard at several Oregon high schools, including North Salem, and appeared as a guest teacher at many local elementary, middle and high schools, as well as the UO. Emily is now teaching at a Montessori school in Salem, OR.
